Conectivity of cManager with the LDAP/AD

By BuyITC Content Management Server 1.0.1 present LDAP module, which provides integration and authentication with OpenLDAP, Active Directory and Novell eDirectory systems.

Interoperability with LDAP directories

Interoperability with LDAP can see the LDAP directory in the CM modules for business management, users and groups. You can view the LDAP directory via your cManager and using the same users and groups as in your network. Users LDAP directory can assign the right application in the system, review the CM structures, modules, etc. momentum. Module considerably simplify and facilitate the management of CM, since the introduction of structures and is not necessary, and use your existing network users.

LDAP system for authentication of users

LDAP system for authentication of users enables the application of CM in the LDAP directory without requiring the entry of new CM account. System at start-cm client automatically authenticate the user or a network requires a username and password. The concept of Fair Play, I normally connect to sport, social games, and even more. In the »sport definition« does not mean simply to follow the rules, but also provides, inter alia, respectful and friendly attitude to the competitors. What about IT? It is possible to obtain in a recession, when each is seeking its place under the sun, think or even act in the spirit of fair play-a? What would it even mean? Maybe that would be abandoned the project to those more in need, to help subscribers to the services performed completely free of charge, or even something more illusory? I believe in none of this, and I believe that this no one expects.

But I would very likely continue and many people, either at the contractor as per the customer would expect "fair play" in the provision of services or business relationships in general. Probably not the only factor, but I will again focus on the pricing policies of some operators in the IT branch. I admit that I also agree with the argument that any solution or service is worth at least as much as someone is willing to pay for it. However, it is possible to implement a strict and at any price? It is possible to speak of a fair price? I am sure that there is »no-fair price« and then, in the cases that have led me to this thinking, a mild expression. What is fair or accepteble on a case by case assess clients, while a few thousand euro for a few hours of work or charge hourly experts for the task at the level of technology does not resist.

All efforts are made as closely as possible to dispose of our services, but nonetheless there are limits, in a spirit of partnership relationship with customers simply should not pass and this even if the business thrives. Given the experience of the market say that in our company FAIR PLAY is written in capital letters.

Exposed the problems of us somewhat hinders the realization of certain projects, but we are nevertheless in the hot month were very active. Whit new technologies comes a new product. But more about this in the news.

Microsoft – Silverlight 3 and Expression 3 bring many innovations, the Slovenian partners are inspecting with interest

Microsoft introduced Silverlight 3 and Expression 3, a tool for development and the creation of attractive rich web applications. The new version includes a range of innovations to be the developers and designers is working quickly, but have more freedom in designing the user experience. Microsoft is taking the more slovenian partners to use Silverlight technology for the development of innovative new projects. Among them is the company BuyITC, which is to promote its online store Aperio prepared a quiz to check the overall knowledge of slovenian users.

Registration of working hours - we announce new product from house BuyITC

Among the major tasks of the development of our research group considered the monitoring of markets, identifying the information needs of enterprises and development of new useful, efficient and, above all, affordable solution. Our range of web applications will be in the short complement system for the registration of working hours.

The key objectives in the development of new solutions are:

    1. Easy to use
    2. Eligibility for the firms with fewer employees
    3. A comprehensive monitoring and management of working time
    4. The introduction of low cost and maintenance applications

The prototype solution we successfully implemented internally. Expose the subject to a wide range of methods of identification for the purpose of registration of working time as well as access control. At some quite simple and inexpensive methods, we also support contactless cards or stickers, and biometrics (fingerprint) without or with an additional password.

Some details of the preparation of the first commercial version, expected towards the end of the year, still remain a mystery.

Microsoft has in the past week issued a new version of Silverlight technology, which announced the next generation of interactive Web applications. Silverlight 3 offers even richer user interface and better development tools. Today is taking place the debate on the web about how web applications will be developed and how users will react to this. Since the Silverlight technology includes everything which contributes to the most attractive, fast and friendly user interface would recommend anyone to use in promoting their services.

Online trading with Navision 3.6?!

Although the ERP systems represent one of the key building blocks of the financial system is rarely the company decided to respective transitions to a newer version when it Results. Some of you think that the only on-line communication, ie the exchange of information in real time, the only acceptable. I'm happy to be agreed, but I must warn you to forget that ERP systems are not designed for the needs of online trading!

Normal, may be called economic, configuration of systems for online trading requires advance preparation of data in the background. This means that it is necessary at intervals to provide for the exchange of information between the ERP and web systems. Under the appropriate updating can be also defined the interval within which data can be transferred and properly treated. The specific and optimized BuyITC system modules allow the interval to less than 15 minutes on certain lots, for example, stocks and even less than 5 minutes.
Yes, even in the case of Navision 3.6 is such "complete" integration possible. We hope you said that there is a real possibility that this may also be some older version. Finally, we have one of the first projects to integrate Navision performed on the DOS version.

Regardless of the version or brand of ERP system you can guarantee a modern, reliable and efficient solution for online trading.

In Europe "Wow!", in Slovenia "Yuck"?!

Microsoft each year in the global partner conference rewards partners who offer a great solutions, built on Microsoft technology and the poor over the two weeks we will know whether we are in 2009 may have contributed the best solution in the region of Central and Eastern Europe.

Already own nomination for the finale, however, gives us the motivation and the hope that the "breakthrough in the rest of the world" became a reality soon.

Completely different opinions about the quality of solutions has our Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology. The project we have signed up to the tender for the promotion of technology development projects for small and medium-sized companies with a view to obtaining additional resources for development, but the Commission made a negative opinion. That leaves us no choice other than take this decision for granted, however we cannot believe, the project was ranked only on 280th place?!

Too bad that the rules only allow an appeal, but not given a chance to concrete representations, with which the Commission would certainly convince the other - a more positive opinion.
