Practical approaches to AI: testing as the key to progress
17. DECEMBER 2025

A round table discussion on the future of work and the impact of artificial intelligence on organizations recently took place at the School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana. Among the speakers was our director, Aleš Zebec, who contributed a highly concrete and experience-based perspective on implementing AI in practice.

While many companies are still primarily focused on theory, planning, and "what if" scenarios, Aleš emphasized a different approach: the best understanding of AI is gained only through testing in real-world scenarios.

Prototypes, pilot implementations, and gradual rollouts are the steps where organizations truly see what works, what doesn't, and where AI creates the most value.

His main message:
"Less theory, more concrete testing. By testing, we eliminate doubt and gain the experience necessary to use AI with confidence."

The discussion once again highlighted that successful digital transformation rests on two pillars:

  • mature and accessible technology,

  • and people who are ready to explore, experiment, and learn through tangible steps.

Thank you to the organizers for an excellent event that reminded us once more that real progress happens when theory is replaced by practice—and the courage to test new approaches.
