With the expansion of online sales and online banking, the number of diverse providers and services of online payment methods has also increased significantly. For our customers, we have already integrated many into online shopping.
The headline statement is the result of a survey published by BigCommerce and PayPal in last year's report (2021 Consumer Spending Trends - AN OMNICHANNEL REPOR). The desired method of payment along with affordable price has thus become one of the key factors in the purchase decision. Slovenian online retailers are also increasingly aware of the latter, while Slovenian consumers, largely accelerated by the COVID situation, have embraced online payment methods from online card payments to PayPal and online or mobile banking.
